Bankers Group of Hospitals  in association with Vadodara Municipal Corporation's (VMC) Garden Division, Champions Environmental Stewardship on World Environment Day

In celebration of World Environment Day, Bankers Group of Hospitals (BGH) proudly shares their tree plantation drive, part of a comprehensive CSR initiative dedicated to the preservation and protection of our planet's ecosystem. This initiative underscores our commitment to sustainable practices and the health of our Mother Earth.

Today, in collaboration with 40 NGOs nominated by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation's (VMC) Garden Division—organizations that have been advocating for the environment for over a decade—we initiated the planting of 150 trees. This effort is part of an ongoing tree plantation drive, with BGH taking full responsibility for the care, protection and maintenance of these plants.

The event was graced by Dr. Hitendra Patel, former Standing Committee member, and Dr. Suresh Tuwar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner of the Purva Zone. They were joined by multiple volunteers jn collective effort to enhance our city's green cover by planting 150+ saplings. 

Dr. Parul Banker, Medical Director of BGH, emphasized, "Protecting our environment is as crucial as caring for our patients. Every tree we plant today is a step towards a healthier future for generations to come."

This year's World Environment Day theme, "Ecosystem Restoration," aligns perfectly with our vision. We believe that through consistent and dedicated efforts, we can create a more sustainable and vibrant environment. As Dr. Parul Banker further added, "The health of our environment directly impacts the health of our community. By nurturing nature, we are nurturing life itself."

Our CSR activity extends beyond tree planting. We are also installing tree guards to ensure the protection of these young saplings. Additionally, BGH is focused on water conservation efforts and the protection of local water bodies, recognizing the vital role water plays in sustaining life.
